As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Optical Application Support Engineer to strengthen our technical capabilities and support our expanding customer base.

Core Requirements

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Optical, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields).
Up to 3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are also welcome.
Experience using CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
Solid understanding of optical-mechanical interfaces and alignment principles.
Familiarity with considerations such as thermal management, vibration control, and precision alignment in sensitive systems.
Hands-on experience with optical alignment, integration, or laboratory setups is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in both lab and field environments.
High attention to detail for documentation, integration notes, and technical reporting.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across optics, electronics, and systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Applications

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams and customers.
Provide clear, accurate technical advice on product specifications, applications, and performance.
Conduct hands-on testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting based on customer requirements.

Product & Customer Support

Support customer visits and discussions, providing expert technical input alongside the sales team.
Collaborate closely with the Singapore HQ on product feedback, application testing, and new product insights.
Assist in preparing quotations, technical proposals, and documentation.

Internal Collaboration & Enhancement

Contribute to internal engineering and operational projects aimed at improving efficiency and service quality.
Support field deployments and provide on-site technical assistance when needed.
Maintain high standards of engineering documentation and integration guidelines.
