POC Opto-Tech Pte Ltd is a leading Singapore-based provider of precision optics and photonics solutions. We design and supply advanced optical components, infrared systems, crystals, coatings, and custom-engineered photonic products to clients across defense, security, medical, semiconductor, industrial, and research sectors worldwide.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Executive who is driven, professional, and passionate about building strong customer relationships in a technologically advanced industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers in Singapore and overseas.
  • Understand customer requirements from prototype development to mass production.
  • Learn and develop strong product knowledge across optics, infrared imaging, coatings, crystals, and photonics solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up with potential and existing clients.
  • Present technical solutions clearly and professionally through emails, calls, and in-person or virtual meetings.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation with high accuracy.
  • Participate in client meetings, trade shows, and technical discussions when required.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, production, and application teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts with strong follow-through, organization, and communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technical, engineering, or industrial products.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Science, Business, or related fields).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical concepts and translate them to customer needs.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient — able to overcome challenges and pursue new opportunities.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Familiarity with optics, photonics, or precision engineering is an advantage (training will be provided).
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, conferences, and trade shows when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation
