Your Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Development: Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with domestic and international clients, supporting them from prototype development to volume production.
  • Photonics Product Expertise: Learn and understand POC’s photonics solutions to identify client needs, address technical challenges, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Drive new client acquisition and re-engage past clients by identifying opportunities and delivering innovative optics solutions.
  • Sales & Communication: Leverage strong interpersonal skills to understand technical requirements, present solutions, and close sales.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively through phone calls, emails, trade shows, and face-to-face meetings or virtual conferences.
  • Team Collaboration: Work independently or collaboratively with a team, ensuring projects are well-executed and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Organization & Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience with a strong ability to understand and discuss technical engineering products and solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Sales Skills: Passion for sales, resilience to overcome challenges, and an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with photonics or optics products is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Client-Focused: Strong ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel for trade shows, meetings, and conferences as needed.

Compensation
