Refund and Returns Policy

At Photonics on Crystals (POC), we are committed to delivering premium photonics and crystal-based solutions that meet the highest industry standards. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy to ensure your satisfaction and trust in our products. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret that we cannot provide a full refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, your item must meet these conditions:

  • Unused and in Original Condition: The item must be in the same condition as received, with no signs of damage or wear.
  • Original Packaging: All items must be returned with their original packaging and documentation.

Please note, the following types of goods are non-returnable:

  • Customized or bespoke photonics components (e.g., custom crystal lenses, coatings, or modules).
  • Downloadable software products.
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance.

Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of products are excluded from returns:

  • Customized Orders: Custom-engineered components tailored to your specifications.
  • Gift Cards and Promotional Products: These items are not eligible for refunds or returns.
  • Final Sale Products: Items sold under final clearance or marked as “non-refundable.”

To initiate a return, proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation) is required. Please refrain from sending your purchase back without first contacting our support team.


Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified via email about the status of your refund:

  • Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days and credited to your original payment method.
  • Rejected Refunds: If your return does not meet our criteria, you will be notified with reasons for rejection, and the item will be shipped back to you.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after the specified time frame, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as processing delays may occur.
  3. Contact your bank, as some refunds may require additional time to process.

Exchanges

Shipping costs for returns are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted. For expensive items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.


Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Items purchased on sale or during promotions are non-refundable.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the return value. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
